Customer moved into their "forever" home and the husband wanted the "man cave" that he always dreamed of. The 1000 SF space allowed for the rest of the family to share the new living level. Finished, the ceilings are a full 8' in height. The flooring chosen was Manchurian Walnut. Cabinets and bar top are maple finish. All TVs are Samsung LED. The ceiling was manufactured by Armstrong.

The finished basement features a large area for watching the games on TV with surround sound. Across the area is a full bar that has a sink and built in fridge. The Mrs. of the house has her own room with a built in bookcase and reading area. The two children have their own playroom with TV. The lower level also features a bathroom.

This new level of living truly has it all.

Finished Basement in Hillsborough, NJ -

The existing finished basement in this Hillsborough, NJ townhouse shown below was so poorly constructed that it could not be brought up to code. The entire basement was demolished. The demo process took the basement back to concrete floors, walls, and open trusses. No remnants of the previously constructed basement were present.

The finished basement has a large family room with built in cabinetry to house the TV and audio equipment for the home theater system. The back room serves as a playroom and can later be converted to an office with the addition of double French doors. Behind the TV cabinet is a finished storage area with wire shelving. Also located in the basement is the washer and dryer room.

Finished Basement in Montgomery Township, NJ -

The footprint of this basement with it's 8' ceiling was meant to be finished into living space. With the property sloping to the read, the sliding door and double windows flooded the room with light. To allow the light to continue through the entire finished area, the home office was closed off with French doors.

The basement has a large family room area that was used as a home theater room by the customer. The French doors going to the office allow for noise to be sealed off while working but still keeps a feeling of openness with the glass doors. Another area near the windows can be used as an exercise area or an eating area.
